Power Puff Girls Z is an anime revision of the popular Canadian/American show Power Puff Girls. So my question to you is, do you think Power Puff Girls is a show for little kids? The answer isn't that straight forward. Since the creators original intent is to detroy the female stereotype that all girls do is play house and have tea parties, there isn't a real age demographic for the Power Puff Girls series. All ages loved Power Puff Girls as well as other shows done by the staff who made PPG. (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic being the most recent popular cartoon show)
While I have not watched PPGZ all the way through, and therefore do not know the exact content of every episode, I have read the synopsis of several episodes and such. PPGZ is basically a Sailor Moon Version of Power Puff Girls. If you don't know what Sailor Moon is, it is a long running anime that shows of several normal teenage girls that are given the power to become super heroines. If you want more info, just Google it, you should come up with billions of results.
Too long didn't read answer? No. I believe that are a lot of things that little kids won't get. Such as jokes and what is actually going on in the story. However, I think the same thing for the original PPG in most episodes. So if your kid likes PPG, s/he might like PPGZ.

No! PPGZ is not on Funimation! It was dubbed by the Ocean Group for other english speaking countries but not America. But Funimation is an American Comapny and PPGZ has not yet been brought to America. Although it would be great if Funi did dub and put PPGZ on Cartoon Network or it's own channel.
