I am an IPO investor - 1986 - in Equity Shares & Debentures, of Banco as NRI. Sold some shares (betn. 1986-1994). All the remaining shares in my various Folios (after 1994) comprised mostly of Bonus Shares Allotment(s), and the Stock Split etc. are totalling 15000 Shares, as of year 2007.
After retiring in 2004, I am in contact (since 2004), with the secretarial department
of Banco to get my Folios updated. Even wrote directly to CEO for help in resolving this issue. But, no response.
The real SHOCKER came in 2011, last year, from Secretarial Dept. when company's records the above 15000 + shares are shown in some other individuals' names (2-3 names). The compliance officer of Banco told me, via phone calls/e-mails etc. that the matter is being investigated - looking into this matter.
Same story with the Debentures.
Ultimate result, as of May 18, 2012, I am still holding an EMPTY BAG, (8) eight yrs.
I do not know where to look fo help.
Intend to lodge complaint with SEBI and other regulatory entities, as well as
take legal action. And, thats where I need all the help.
