People have discovered that the east coast of South America and the west coast of Africa have the same rock type. Also there was animals that lived in South America and in Africa, people were wondering how they could of got to Africa from America without flying or swimming, they must of been able to walk across from the two countries. The Continental Drift from the plates drifted the two countries apart and that causes the world to be as it is now. When the world first begun, all the countries were joint together so you could of walked from Scotland to France, but the Continental Drift drifted all the countries apart.
None of the countries are developed, however South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Botswana and Namibia are some of the most developed, especially South Africa having been there myself. The cities are modern with good infrastructure its not rare to see an Aston Martin, Bentley or Hummer on the streets, many private schools and large shopping malls, Louis Vuitton boutiques and cocktail bars.
