No here it was the wicked plan of King David to put Uriah, in the front line so that he would really die. And David could then take his wife Bathsheba as his very own. But he did pay a price for this. Their child died.
Uriah was one of David's best warriors. In fact, he was one of "The Thirty", a group of elite fighters in the Israelite army. He had a beautiful wife named Bathsheba, and one day when he was off fighting in a war, David saw Bathsheba and lusted after her. He wanted to marry her, so he arranged to have Uriah killed in battle, after which he and Bathsheba were married. The prophet Nathan, on behalf of God, accused David of his sin, and as a result of David's actions, the child he had with Bathsheba died.

No. Methuselah was Noah's grandfather who died the same year of the flood, but before the flood came. Since everyone else on Earth descended from Noah, who descended from Methuselah, technically, King David was from the line of Methuselah. However, the Bible considers all righteous ancestors of the line of King David as beginning with Noah, after the Earth was cleansed by the Flood. If Methuselah was Noah's grandfather and from the great flood it was only Noah, his wife, and their 3 sons and their families that survived, then yes, David would be from the line of Methuselah.

Bathsheba's husband Uriah was present in 2 Samuel 11. Basically, after David got Bathsheba pregnant, he tried to cover it up by getting Uriah to sleep with his wife, but for various reasons, Uriah did not go home. For this reason, David gave instructions to Joab, one of the army's leaders, to put Uriah in the front line of battle when the fighting was fiercest. Basically, David did this so that Uriah would die and he could take Bathsheba as his wife. The prophet Nathan rebukes David for this action in 2 Samuel 12
