The event of the removal of eyelids happened in the movie. However I seriously doubt it happened in real life.
'based on a true story' is a rough way of saying 'some things in this movie might be real, but most of them are not', for example; the spirit Photography has happened in real life.
The documentary "A Haunting in Connecticut" was released on DVD in 2008. *Not to be confused with the major motion picture "The Haunting in Connecticut" which was released to DVD on July 14, 2009.
Aside from The Haunting in Connecticut. Stir of Echos The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (that has dead people all over though, not just in the walls) The People Under The Stairs The Amityville Horror
Kyle Gallner
I don't think anyone died in the movie. Not any of the main people anyway...maybe the preist towards the ending of the movie...
There are so many including the twilight movies. The Haunting of molly hartley and The Haunting in Connecticut If you research any horror movie or movies of lost souls you'll probably find a whole bunch.

The Haunting in Connecticut.
No. Not at all. This movie was taken from the book, In A Dark Place by Ray Garton. When I first contacted Ray, prior to the release of this movie, he was giving interviews explaining that it was a concocted story, that it was in no way true. This and other movies like it are nothing more that money making machines.
