Well, that is a good question. It is obvious that Aang is in love with Katara, and never showed that kind of love to any other girls in the series, while toph was there in two seasons. He even said it in many episodes, like in the episode daydreams and nightmares (i think that is what it was called) When aang says he thought he and Katara would be together after they kissed at the invasion, Katara says now is not the right time because a war was occurring. that shows she loves him but the time was just not good enough. After they kissed at the invasion, Katara blushed and Sokka called to her and she turned the other way so he wouldn't see her blush. Finally, the series was over once the two had that really long kiss they had. so they are both in much love with each other. By the way, the Legend of Korra is coming out soon. It will be a series of the next avatar after aang,Korra.

The epsoide was called 'The Crossroads of Destiny'. I went along with 'The Gru" and was made into Season 2's season finalle and it was also a movie. Aang, Uncle Iroh, Sokka, and Toph found out where Katara and Zuko were and that Azula is plotting an evil sceme. Sokka and Toph went to go warn the Earth King but got arrested and then they broke out of jail. During the time, Iroh gives Aang some great advice about Aang's avatar state and then ending up finding Katara and Zuko. After Katara and Aang leave to help Sokka and Toph, Iroh tries to convince Zuko to come to his good side. Azula then interurups and tries to convince Zuko to come to his bad side. in the episode " cave of two lovers " the only way to get out was to kiss , they got out which means they kissed . that and the series final kiss means two kisses Once, maybe twice, during the "Cave of the two lovers" episode, they look like they might kiss, then their lights go out and by the time the crystals light up the cave they don't even look like they kissed. The only witness is Appa. The other time they kissed in plat whin sight in the season finale.
