It was Dr. Leonard McCoy in the fifth Star Trek aka Star Trek V The Final Frontier. The exact quote was; "I seek proof." "Jim, you don't ask the Almighty for his ID!" "Then here is the proof you seek." ("God" hits Kirk with a bolt of lightning) - Kirk, McCoy, and "God"
I think you mean Jim 'Kirk' but nonetheless, In the orignal series it was William Shatner, in the new movie it's Chris Pine. Hope I helped! :D
In Star Trek, Kirk's nickname for Doctor Leonard McCoy was "Bones".
After almost a year of rumors, on April 26th 2018, it was reported that during a CinemaCon presentation, Paramount CEO Jim Gianopulos confirmed Paramount was officially developing two new Star Trek movies. It wasn't specified if these two films would be direct sequels to 2016's Star Trek Beyond, but it was reported one of the two is the Quentin Tarantino's R-rated take on the Trek franchise. It should be noted that Paramount still [as of April 2018] has not officially greenlit these projects so it's possible they may not happen, but there are new movies being developed.
To pinch a phrase from Star Trek, the answer would be 'It's Life Jim, but not as we know it'.
McCoy called Kirk "Jim". Kirk called McCoy "Bones"
Jim
Yes, they do. Because the crew of the Enterprise is military, often they are all referred to by their last names, but Vulcans refer to them by rank or title when needed, and by first name in friendship situations. Spock called Captain Kirk Jim, and even in the new movies, Spock said his girlfriend's first name (which Kirk didn't know).
