Does Nick Cutter return in series 4 of Primeval?
No. The writers of Primeval adapted the script to make Nick get shot by his wife Helen, so that the actor who played him (Douglas Henshall) could leave Primeval to do other work.

Yes, but they can technically bring him back because when he went through that anomaly to return the future predator he went through the wrong one. They where obviously expecting him, so, technically they could bring him back. But, they lost their only way to track where they went when Helen died. Then again, since Cutter was with her and IF there is another him, there is also another her. But according to Douglas Henshall (Nick Cutter)'s interview, He said that he wanted to quit and that he thought people would miss him for awhile but would forget about him once the new characters came on. Boy, was he wrong!!!! :(

The Characters Stevan Hart, Dies in Series Two and Claudia Brown in series one, technically doesnt die she disapears out of exisance and is reborn in series two as Jennie Lewis, and in Series three the Main Character Nick Cutter Dies Because Helen his X-wife shoots him in an attempt to Change the future. In series 4 Philip dies because he made a giant manmade anomaly and he had to destroy it so he blew up the building he was inside. P.S. It didnt work

yes he is totally dead He isn't coming back because he is moving onto bigger and better things. I read it some where, he could come back but the actor doesn't want to.
Is there going to be a fourth primeval?
The series was cancelled by ITV on June 29 2009 because it cost to much, but with a new deal between ITV, Watch, ProSebien and BBC America Primeval will have two more seasons. The Fourth will air in a few weeks time and will be on DVD by February 11, 2011 and the fifth season does not have a confirmed date but will air between mid-late 2011.
