How do you create a laser beam?

A: By applying to a laser diode pulse of current enough energy to emit photons at a certain frequency.

Is light emitting diodes emit visible light when forward biased?

It depends on the particular LED. Some of them emit infrared light. But, yes, emission occurs when forward-biased.

Do rfid tags emit radiation?

Some RFID tags emit electromagnetic radiation, which, unlike ionizing radiation (think nuclear bombs), is not deadly (or at least we think its not--the debate about cell phones and brain cancer rages on). However, some RFID tags only emit a signal when they are electromagnetically "stimuated" by an external source. Usually the source is some sort of electromagnet which, through induction, "powers up" the tag and allows it to send the required data.

Why must you turn off electronics during airplane takeoff?

The reason they don't want you using personal electronics during takeoff and landing is that most personal electronics, even though they're shielded and not supposed to emit much, emit certain amounts of RFI (Radio Frequency Interference). While one or two devices might not interfere, a lot of them could interfere with aircraft pilot-ground communications, which is critical during takeoff and landing, when the aircraft is most vulnerable. If there is an emergency, the pilot needs to have clear communication with the Air Traffic Controller for emergency instructions and other necessary coms. Cell Phones and Notebooks are the biggest RFI and EMI (electromagnetic interference) offenders - even though they're shielded, they still emit quite a bit of interference, and cell phones by their nature could theoretically directly overlap an emergency com frequency that the pilot is using. If you've ever noticed the bulge cylinder on the end of some computer and AC adapter cables, that's a device specifically designed for RFI reduction. But not all cables have those. On another note, any fuel leak vapors during takeoff and landing could also be set off by the use of personal electronic devices if the plane were forced to abort the takeoff and a tank ruptured, though RFI is the primary concern. Same if the plane had a hard landing that resulted in a wing tank rupture and subsequent fuel leak. It's the same reason you're asked to turn your cell phones off while fueling your car.

What does the brightness of light depend on?

The ultraviolet light contains photons of high energy. these are able to excite the atoms. which during the process of de-excitation can emit frequencies , which are detectable by normal eye. So it depends upon frequency of light..

Which waves have the highest frequency?

Gamma rays emit the highest frequency.

What determines the radiation that an electromagnetic wave emits?

You're probably thinking of frequency and wavelength. If that's true, then you onlyneed one or the other. They're tightly connected, so if you know one of them, thenyou can always calculate the other one.

Why did the flashlight light?

The flashlight lighted up because there is a source of electricity, typically provided by batteries, that powers the bulb to emit light when the switch is turned on.

What type of energy does a flashlight give off?

A flashlight gives off light energy, which is a form of electromagnetic radiation. The light energy is created when the flashlight's batteries produce electrical energy that powers the light bulb or LED to emit light.

What is the energy transformathion in a flashlight?

In a flashlight, electrical energy from the batteries is transformed into light energy through a process involving a bulb or LED. The electrical circuit in the flashlight allows the flow of electrons, which excites the atoms in the bulb, causing them to emit light.

What is the frequency of humans?

Average healthy individuals emit frequencies from 52HZ to 72HZ.

What happens when you flip a switch on a flashlight?

When you flip a switch on a flashlight, you complete an electrical circuit that allows a current to flow from the battery to the light bulb. This causes the light bulb to emit light and illuminate the surroundings.

How are electromagnetic waves used in a flashlight?

In a flashlight, electromagnetic waves are used to generate light. When electricity flows through the circuit, it excites the atoms in the light bulb's filament, causing them to emit light in the form of electromagnetic waves. The waves in the visible spectrum produce the light that we see when we turn on a flashlight.

What is the peak frequency of star?

The peak frequency of a star's emitted radiation depends on its temperature. A hotter star will emit more radiation at higher frequencies, while a cooler star will emit more at lower frequencies. The peak frequency can be estimated using Wien's law, which states that the peak frequency is inversely proportional to the star's temperature.

Flashlight emits what type of ray?

A flashlight emits visible light rays, which are a form of electromagnetic radiation that our eyes can detect. It does not emit any other type of ray, such as X-rays or gamma rays.

How can a flashlight be non-luminous?

infra red maybe??? get a remote and your camera phone and you'll see what i mean or A flshlight can be non-luminous because the batteries from the flashlight gives the energy that makes light.
