His most important duties are: * Heading the Ministry of finance * Heading the National Treasury * Preparing an annual and bi-annual budget * Implementing, erasing and drafting fiscal policies * Co-ordinating intergovernmental financial relations * Co-ordianting the South African Revenue services * Co-ordinating various government funds such as UIF Many more duties can be seen in detail at the link provided under "related links" below.
