No the PS3 has different games and they are on Blu-Ray discs and while they number over 1000 based on a Gamespot count of the different PS3 games the number of PS2 games is over 3500 according to the Gamespot. Even is a rare case where the PS2 and PS3 game title is the same, the games are not exactly the same because the game designers take advantage of the higher capability of the PS3 game console. This means that Call of Duty 3 for the PS3 will be different and not exactly the same as the Call of Duty 3 (COD3) for the PS2 even though they have the same game title and were both first released in November 2006. That is not to say that the games are not very similar for the different game consoles. I am told that while they like playing the COD3 game on my PS3 they still enjoy playing the COD3 game I got them for there PS2 console. They really love playing the COD4 (Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare) that is not available on the PS2 and want me to purchase MW2 (Modern Warfare 2). The PS3 does tend to get the new releases to the PS2 games and many are not being released for the PS2. Even though the PS3 is getting the new titles many of the older titles are not available for the PS3, although Call of Duty Classic was released for the PS3 in December 2009 in is more of an exception than the rule..
The PSP and PSP Go are portable game players that are handheld. The PS2 is an older model full size console that was replaced by the PS3 and is not portable and requires connection to a Television to receive audio and video. The PSP is closer to the Nintendo DS than to the PS2
The PSP has much lower qualities than the PS2 because it was designed to be a portable and the game it plays are just a little more complex than a PS1
you use a 3-pron connector (yellow. red, white) in to the input in the playstation 2 or portable DVD player.
no it is not there on playstation portable it will release on 11th february 2011
The PlayStation which became the PlayStation 1 after the release of the PS2 in 2000
No. PlayStation 2 does not have PlayStation Store.
Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is not available on PS3 consoles. The game was released on PS2 and PlayStation Portable devices.
No, but it is on PS2 and PC
5 different. There is a PS3 a PS2 and a PlayStation sometimes called a PS1 there is also a PSP and a PSP Go portable, The PlayStation Move is not a type of PlayStation , but an option for the PS3
The playstation 2 doesn't have WiFi capabilities like the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable do.
No Sorry just the playstation Portable
No the PS2 is a full size console that is connected to a TV and operated with controllers and the PSP is a Portable Playstation
no the PlayStation company stopped making portable routers 4 the ps2
No, it only comes out on the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable.
The PSP is short for Playstation Portable. It does not have the computer capabilities of the PS2 or the PS3. If you had to chose a console it would be closer to a Playstation than a PS2. But the system was designed to work with the PS3 and had many advanced capabilities not found in the Playstation. Even the new Playstation Vita with the 3G model costing more than a PS3 160 GB model is not a portable PS3. It is not able to play complex PS3 style games although it is much closer than any handheld before it.
you use a 3-pron connector (yellow. red, white) in to the input in the playstation 2 or portable DVD player.
No, you can't because the psp games are small and in some type of casing and ps2 games are big and have no casing
No because the US PS2 uses different coding then the JPN PS2.
