Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope (1977) Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back (1980) Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi (1983) Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace (1999) Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones (2002) Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith (2005) Watch these movies the way they were released, not by the Episode numbers. Start with 4, 5, and 6. Then watch 1, 2, and 3. Anyone who saw Episodes 1, 2, and/ or 3 and can't figure out what the big deal is, watch Episodes 4 and 5, and then you will be pleasantly surprised.
