How can you buy games from the PlayStation store?

The Playsation Store has recently been launched in India on 8th September 2010. Now you can create a India PSN account and access the store to download demos, trailers and buy games, add-ons etc.

First, assuming you have a PSN account, you need to log into it, either on PC or the appropriate console. Next you need a source of funding, you can use a credit card or a prepaid PSN card bought from places like GAME or Gamestation. From the PSN store you can select whatever you want, then use the checkout to buy them.

You can not download the game on a PC so you would need a PS3 connected to the internet and then there is no convenience to using the PC to make the purchase. PlayStation Store purchases are made through a Playstation Wallet. Any credit card used to fund the account must match the name and address of the account. You can purchase Playstation Network cards on Amazon and then type in the code that comes with purchase of a card. PS Vita can also connect and download games, but it is faster and better to do everything from the PS3. Anyone can create a Playstation Network Account that claims to be over 18 and has both an email and home address. A birthdate and the email will be the way to reset lost passwords. Without a Playstation Network Account you can only use the network as a guest
