This sounds like a job for a video switcher. There are numerous small switch units available that have 2, 3 or 4 video and audio inputs and a single video and audio output. In North America they will normally have three RCA (phono) jacks for each channel while in Europe, they may be phono connectors but are also likely to be scart connectors (a 21 pin video and audio connector). Any of these switch units will do the job and they can be found in most TV accessory stores or electronics stores. In the UK, try Maplin or Tandy and in the US, Radio Shack is a good place to start.
If you are lucky enough to have two HD games consoles, then you will probably need an HDMI switcher. They are similar to the SD switches but tend to be more expensive because they require active electronics and also need to be tested and licensed by the HDMI organization.
Any ps3 above 40 GB plays ps2 games Only PS3 consoles with 4 USB ports will play PS2 games. That means only the oldest machines that are at least 3 years old. If it breaks Sony will only replace it with a newer model.
Every PlayStation 2 game is playable on a PS3. No only the early PS3 consoles with 4 USB ports could play PS2 games.
I'm afraid not, unless you have a 1st generation 60gb PlayStation 3, none of the new ones do it or the 80 and 40 GB. The PS3 CECHE model of the 80 GB with 4 USB ports does and so does the 2nd Model with 20 GB and no WiFi
No the PS2 can not play a PS3 game they are only the same size they are as different as a CD and DVD and that is just the disc. The PS2 can not run the PS3 games programs and lacks the hardware to do what the programs are telling it to do
Older PS3 Models with 4 USB ports will play PS2 games as seen on related PlayStation network link. All PS3 models with only 2 USB ports can not play PS2 games and there are no updates, downloads or additional hardware or cables that will allow them to play PS2 games. All models of PS3 can play PS1 games with software emulation.
It is used to open, close and route ports to an internal ip! It is used by games consoles to allow other games consoles to connect to their web ip addres(eg 45.12.73.3) and when it is connected to a router with more than one device it uses port forwarding like this. Port 567 will be forwared to port 697 on my xbox or for technical people 94.75.34.1:567 will goto 192.168.1.3:697. It also allows you to close ports so for security closing port 21 and 80 are recommended. Open ports are ports that allow others to connect to them closed ports are ports that don't allow people to connect. It is mainly used by PC and servers as games consoles don't need to do it if it is the only device on the network but PC do for security.
No that is one of the PS3 consoles with 2 USB ports and part of the 3rd generation of PS3 consoles. Only the first 2 generations of PS3 consoles with 4 USB ports play PS2 games with backward compatiblity
On the older model PS3 with 4 USB ports most games PS2 can be played, but not on PS3 consoles than have only 2 USB ports.
No PS2 games are compatible with PS3s having only 2 USB ports. The other consoles vary the games that they will play with less being compatible for different regions and consoles
On the older model PS3 with 4 USB ports most games PS2 can be played, but not on PS3 consoles than have only 2 USB ports.
Sony PlayStation 3 60gb that's the only one that will get ps2 games working!!!! On the older model PS3 with 4 USB ports most PS2 games can be played, but not on PS3 consoles that have only 2 USB ports.
"Yes, all PS3's do. So do PS2's ^^ The PlayStation networks says they do not so does Wikipedia" Hot tip Champ, they don't. Only the PS3 consoles with 4 USB ports, (The GB and the GB). Those are discontinued now. All Current consoles now only have 2 USB ports and only play PS3 and PS1 games.
I'm pretty sure, but not positive. You can play PS2 games on only the early PS3 consoles with 4 USB ports.
