∙ 13y agoIn the Outsiders it's because Dally had been caught by the cops due to his bad behavior that he had for no reason, and knew what it was like to be caught by the police. He knew that Ponyboy and Johnny were good kids who needed some help for murdering a boy who threatened their own lives.
