What happens in Full moon wo Sagashite?
A girl called mitsuki is going to die in one year and she is visted by shinigamis Takuto and Meroko. She wants to become a singer but she has cancer in her throut making her not able to sing. Meroko and Takuto, but mostly Takuto, help her to fullfill her dream because she made a promise to Eichi, a fellow orphan in the orphanage with her. She loves him, but she can't tell him, so she promises herself she will find him. She follows her dream becomes a singer named Full Moon and goes to America to find Eichi and find a doctor who can cure her throut without harming her vocal cords. She goes to find Eichi and finds a terrible truth, and Takuto falls in love with her.

umm well if u really wanna know this is gonna be a complete spoiler! BEWARE SPOILER! eichi has been dead i think for like 2 years. takuto loses his memory and gets sent back to the human world instead of a ghost; but before that mitsuki and takuto kiss in like episode 50 or 51. in the human world takuto is a human and Mitsuki finds him. they dont show what happens after that >.< she does pretty much fall in love with takuto, but he loses his memory (again), and it doesn't specify in the anime if he remembers her or not, but in the manga he does remember her (i'm pretty sure) and they get together.
