Oh, dude, Peter Pan and Captain Hook met when Peter cut off Hook's hand and fed it to a crocodile. Like, talk about a rough first encounter, am I right? And then Hook was like, "I'm gonna get that kid," and Peter was all flying around like, "Catch me if you can!" Classic rivalry, man.

Well, well, well, gather 'round, kiddos! Peter Pan and Captain Hook met when Peter cut off Hook's hand and fed it to a crocodile. Talk about a rough first encounter! And the rest, as they say, is fairy tale history.
According to the original story, Peter ran away from home as a baby when he heard his parents talking about him growing up. He ended up in the Park...I forget which one right now, where Tinker Bell found him and took him to Neverland. Hope I helped!
There was never an official explanation of this, though his friendship with fairies in general was explained in "Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens".
When Peter was a baby, he overheard his parents talking about how he would one day become a "man", and didn't like the sound of that. So he escaped to Kensington Gardens (a nearby park), where he was taken in by the birds and the fairies.
nobody acutley now's but you can check out the movie "Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens"
it talks about whene peter was alitle baby and his parent's where talking about how one day he was going to become a man and he dident like the sound of thatSo he escaped to Kensington Gardens (a nearby park), and so he was taken in by the birds and the fairies. so ithink that is where he met tinker bell.
before peter met tink in kensington gardens, he was being raised by a man named jimmy, who raised him and slightly to be pick pockets. jimmy is really hook who later when they all arrive in neverland is persuaded to join the pirates by money and a women in the crew. peter and him become rivals when peter learns jimmy killed peter's real father, and that he was the one who told them to have another child after peter dissapeared. the other child was what led peter to want to never grow up in the first place. hope this helped. :)
Tinkerbell was going out to the beach to look for lost things and saw this little boy lying on the beach. He was Peter Pan.
peter pan met captain hook when he first arrived in neverland because he was one of the lost boys made by helping hand hope it helps love me
They would be good friends!
Hook and Peter knew each other before they got to Neverland. Hook, who was called jimmy by his friends on earth fell in love with Peter's mother. Peter's mother eventually met Peter's father and they got married and had a child. Hook always kept a watch with a picture of peters mother inside because in truth, he never really stopped loving her all all those years. After a battle with hook in Neverland, Peter demands to keep the watch to see and know what his mother looked like. Hook reached into his coat pocket and threw the locket in the ocean where the beast swallowed it. Peter then cut off Hook's hand and the croc ate it too. the watch symbolizes the coming of the croc, alarming hook to run, because the croc liked the taste of Hook's hand so much that it never stopped following him waiting to feast on the rest of him thanks to Peter.
there are many different ways this question can be interpreted. peter pan has a set of principles he lives by so that he will never have to worry about growing up. if you are referring to those then three of them would be: 1. never falling in love, because that would be a grown up thing. this leads to peters main reason for returning wendy home, because he was beginning to like her. 2. he can never stay in the real world to long. if he does, he will begin to age quickly. 3. he cannot and will never grow up, because of the damage hook did in the story before peter met wendy. peter swore not to. if you want to know more about the story of before peter met wendy, contact me on my wikianswers account. hope this helped. :)
"Peter" was taken from Peter Llewelyn Davies, the baby brother of his young friends George and Jack, whom J. M. Barrie had met in Kensington Gardens. "Pan" was a mischievous woodland god in ancient Greek mythology.
