In the book it says:

The nurses wouldn't tell us anything about Johnny and Dally, so Darry got hold of the doctor. The doctor told us that he would talk only to the family, but Darry finally got it through the guy's head that we were about as much family as Dally and Johnny had.

HOPE THIS HELPS!

Why jonny spoke up to dally?

I think you mean Dally. he spoke to dally because Johnny is a nice guy and hates to see bad stuff. when he saw dally annoying the girls, he had to say something because he couldnt just let the girls get all pissed and angry, so he spoke up and told dally to stop and Darry did stop.

What are three examples of when Dally showed heroism in the book the outsiders?

When he let Johnny & Pony borrow his gun even though he could get in jail, when he ran into the burning church to save Johnny, him getting hauled into the cops and lying to them to protect Pony & Johnny.
