1st Make sure the probes are never left out of the water for long periods of time.
2nd Verify that probes are attached and inside they should have about 4 layers of what looks like cotton disks stacked on top of each other. If it looks like a bunch ofcotton scattered all over the place then that means the probes are most likely no longer usable. (Bad probe = False Readings = bad chemical balance)
3rd Set the pH & ORP to your prefered Set point. Usually anything between pH = 7.2 - 7.6 (No more no LESS), ORP = arround 650 ppm.
4th attach your acid feeder to the pH and the Chlorine feeder to the ORP out put.
5th for the next few days you'll need to check the chemical balance to verify that the unit is feeding properly. If the feeder is feeding too little or too much acid change the pH setpoint same goes for ORP.
