If you have a turbo button on your PS3 controller, then it is most likely a third party product, meaning it wasn't made by Sony. The turbo button will make a button set to it give rapid commands to the system, making your PS3 believe that you are pressing the button rapidly. To set a button to a turbo, first, press and hold the turbo button, then press the button you wish to map to it. You can normally have multiple buttons set to the turbo at a time
To reset a PS3 controller to a different PS3 connect the controller to the PS3 you want to connect it to with a charge cable. Press the PS button and wait for it to connect to the new console. After it connects your controller will now work with the new PS3.
PS2 do not play PS3 games and if your PS2 controller is being used on a PS3 then you are not using normal PS3 equipment. Sony support and my sources do not have information on using some unknown controller that might be able to work on a PS3 read your manual that came with the controller. Better yet buy the better Dual Shock 3 PS3 controller

Yes there is, if you look behind the controller, right above the sticker is a hole with a screw in it, now if you look a little to the right if the hole, you will see a small hole, the reset button is located in there.

the classic NES controller has a select button, a start button, a Dpad, and an A and B button. a NES turbo controller has all of that, but it also has a turbo button for the A and B button, so instead of repeatedly tapping one of the buttons, you could just hold down it's turbo button (wich is located directly below them)
