If you don't have the manual, and something tells me you don't, you might need to experiment a litte. Holding down buttons for longer than two seconds works on some, and pushing two butons simultaneously works for others. Try the far right buttons that control the CD player, or if the tuning knob can be pushed, do that, until the clock digits start blinking. That's the key; you need to get the numbers to blink. Look for the small writing on the face of the radio around the knobs and buttons. Once you have some sort of menu, the tuning knob can be turned to scroll through to the clock sometimes. Every clock is different it seems, so get in there and try different things. Sorry if this doesn't help. but I've seen a few and they are a real challenge sometimes. There might be a little hole to poke a pen through, too. I find that the last two buttons on the right do the trick a lot of times.
The details I have give the following instructions
INSP- Inspection Service
Press & hold the button located under the speedo
Switch Ign on
Keep the button pressed untill"---" appears in the display
Release the button
Switch Ign off
If required clear the Oil indicator by using the same method
best wishes

Check all the 20A fuses, and you probably have a coin in your cigarette lighter. If the under dash lights flicker when you push the horn button, and the radio resets it's clock every time you open the door, it is almost definitely just a fuse issue. (this wouldn't have anything to do with the poor starting.)
