It is easy. you want the .550 revolver and the .415 rifle. You want to shoot it as many times as possible in the face(w/ revovler and adreniline). Then run to the right, and you should find a cave; go in. If it is the right one, you can walk deeper into it, and it loops you around. You come out behiind the lion. Shoot the lion and then Dodge. Go back into the same cave and repeat. Do it a couple of times, and he will die. Don't worry if you get attacked just keep going.
