You don't need an action replay u just need strong pokeom and alot of ultra ball or hack it so u hvae a master ball. But to catch Giratina u need to beat the game and then well spring path will open up and it will lead you to Giratina which i located close to that town that looks like a hotel place and has no gym. Anyways then you go into a cave, that is like a game and you could use walk through walls to get through sertain thing. And when you search the cave long enough you'll enter a room that has a Pokemon in the middle and that where Giratina is.
