there is no sure fire way to get a shiny palkia except by using AR unless you get this there are 0 to none chances of getting it ps. I got a shiny Dialga on GTS. Tight hu.

The Celebi caught will be excactly the same as the previous one. The same stats, moves, even nickname will be the same, as well as wether it was shiny or not. So if you were lucky enough to catch a shiny celebi in a previous game, it will still be shiny when caught in diamond/pearl.
