First you must be able to use a test light. .. Remove the clam shell that encloses the steering column. Then with the key off and removed find the bundle of wires that go to the light switch. Turn on the head lights and probe the wires one by one till you find one that lights up. STAY AWAY FROM THE YELLOW WIRE BUNDLE THIS IS THE AIR BAG YOU WILL DIE. With the light probe lit turn off the headlights and if the probe goes out you have found the running light wire , try again till the wire goes out as the headlights do. There are a few reasons why your daytime running lights are flashing. Your wiring could be messed up or your lights might be burning out.
Check bulbs--Low been element could be burned out Check fuse for daytime running light module, make sure your park brake is not part way on. Or module may be bad. High beam's are not controled by module, that is the reason thy still weork.
I've had this problem recently. You need to replace your daytime running lights module. it should be located on the drivers side of the car in just in front of the front tire (it is where it is on the '92)
