Just fixed this problem 2 seconds ago. get into a game, or just splitscreen, (bops2) click start, options. look inversion i believe. then just go to the other, should work
My controller is doing the same thing when you push up on the analog stick it looks down and when you push down it goes up.
With your hands. Left hand on the left side of the controller, with the thumb on the analog stick. The right hand on the right hand side of the controller, with the right thumb on the right analog stick. The left and right index (pointing) fingers on the L1 and R1 buttons.
By replacing it with a new used controller
Click the Left analog stick ,that's L3
push the left analog stick down on the controller an you will hear a click, that is the L3 button

You press the R3 button when you press down the right analog stick.
the l3 is the left anolog stick pressed down. same with right analog stick.

Maybe the right stick if you play with controller with analog mode
with any console controller now the analog sticks will click down. With the PS3 havine R1 and R2, R3 is when you click down the right analog stick and L3 is the the Left analog stick used as a button.
