How do you get Pokemon modifier on platinum?

To use Wild Pokemon Modifier Code, you have to have an Action Replay. Type in the cheat, then press the start button. When you get to tall grass, go to the Calculator App on your Poketch. For example, if you were to catch Arceus, you would type in 493. Then, go into the tall grass, and Arceus would appear.

P.S.: To do it without an Action Replay, obtain the National PokeDex, and skip the first two sentences of the paragraph.

you can get the "Pokemon Modifier" Cheat on the Action Replay DS or DSi. It won't be in the game, but you would have to type it in. Here is the code:

When the game starts, just press the left and right triggers at the same time and 493 master balls will be in your Items Bag (make sure that the first item you have is something that you don't need because it will be erased by the 493 master balls). Say you want a Bulbasaur, just toss out 492 Master balls (493-1 (bulbasaur's national dex number) equals 492). Go in the grass while holding the left trigger. When the battle starts, it should be Bulbasaur. The best thing about this cheat, you also get unlimited Master Balls! So good luck!
