3. Perseus did not show Medusa's head to Cetus or if he did he discovered that it had no effect on the Fish. Both Medusa and Cetus are from Poseidon's realm so the petrifying power has no effect on either of them.
4. The Kraken is not an unique individual but a term that designates a group of animals, most probably the giant squid.
