Puck manages to make Lysander and Demetrius fall asleep by keeping them in a wild chase to find one another. But they get tired and decide to sleep and look for each other next morning.
Oberon told Puck to pour some of the juice on the eyes of Demetrius, that he might love Helena. Puck put it in the eyes of Lysander by mistake. Oberon said to find a guy with Athenian clothing and didn't know there were two of them in the forest so Puck seen Lysander (who wears Athenian clothing) and put it in his eyes.

I had to do a persausive letter on this here is a part of it: I know you had your heart set on marrying Demetrius, but Lysander is more worthy. Lysander truly loves me and always will, but how do you know that Demetrius always will too? "Demetrius, I'll avouch it to his head, Made love to Nedar's daughter, Helena… Upon this spotted and inconstant man" (15). Demetrius was in love with Helena until he saw me. He just ran out on her, and now her heart is broken in two because of him. While it is true that Demetrius loves me, he also loved Helena and now he is treating her poorly. If I did wed him, he might run out on someone again, and then my heart would be broken. And he would treat me how he treats Helena now. Lysander would always be with me and would be kind and gentle. Unlike that warped gasty-witted flirt-gill, Demetrius!
Puck put the juice of love-in-idleness(a potion from a flower), which makes a sleeping person fall in love with the first person they see when they wake up, into Lysander's eyes.
LoveAn example of the love in the book is when Lysander runs away with Hermia into the forest where they would meet and get married. Also, many other different kinds of love occurred in the play such as unrequited love and perplexed love. A great example of unrequited love is when Lysander quotes "The course of true love never did run smooth" after Egeus had declared Hermia to marry Demetrius. Furthermore, a situation of perplexed love was when the juices of a flower were anointed on Lysander's and Demetrius's eyes by Puck, causing them to love the first thing their eyes were on which turned out to be Helena. This confusion caused Hermia to become perplexed into agitated.JealousyAn example of jealousy was when Helena deeply in love with Demetrius, who is in love with Hermia. Helena is jealous of Hermia's beauty and she claims that she too is as beautiful. She often wonders what Hermia has that she doesn't that makes men follow her. So, out of jealousy, Helena tells Demetrius that Hermia and Lysander plan to escape to the woods.DominanceDominance is having the ability to control situations and have some sense of power and organisation in a situation. At the start of the play, Duke Theseus can be described as dominating. We are introduced to him as high class character who authority over many of the characters in the play. For instance, when Egeus, Hermia's father who dominates her, asks Theseus to apply a horrible decision if she refuses to his decisions: To marry Demetrius, join a nunnery or be killed.
Hermia thinks that Demetrius has killed Lysander because she finds Lysander's blood-stained handkerchief near Demetrius, and believes it to be evidence of his guilt. Demetrius swears he did not harm Lysander, and Hermia eventually discovers that Puck's mischief is responsible for the confusion.
Puck put the love potion in the eyes of Lysander while intending to put it in Demetrius's eyes in "A Midsummer Night's Dream." This mix-up caused chaos and confusion in the forest.
Oberon told him to. Oberon wanted Puck to anoint Demetrius, but Puck made a mistake and juiced Lysander instead. As he says, "Believe me, King of Shadows, I mistook. Did you not tell me I should know the man by the Athenian garments he had on?"
Oberon realizes that Puck has put the love potion in Lysander's eyes instead of Demetrius
Oberon instructs Puck to create a fog so the young men will not be able to see each other. Then Puck (who is also called Robin Goodfellow) is to imitate the voices of Lysander and Demetrius to lure them away from each other. We see that Puck is successful and the duel is avoided.
Puck put the potion into the eyes of Demetrius while he was under the influence of Oberon's commands in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare. This caused Demetrius to fall in love with Helena instead of Hermia.

Puck mistakenly put the love juice on Lysander's eyes instead of Demetrius in "A Midsummer Night's Dream." This caused chaos as Lysander falls in love with Helena instead of Hermia.
The four young lovers in A Midsummer Night's Dream are Hermia, Lysander, Helena, and Demetrius. The play explores their intertwined romantic entanglements amidst the magical chaos unleashed by the fairy Puck.
Helena marries Demetrius at the end of the play "A Midsummer Night's Dream." This marriage occurs after Puck uses magic to correct the love triangle between Helena, Demetrius, Hermia, and Lysander.
The main story line is that two couples have run away into the woods outside Athens. Lysander and Hermia love each other, and are attempting to elope together. Demetrius also loves Hermia, and is following them. Helena loves Demetrius, and is following him. The King of the Fairies, Oberon, tells his assistant Puck to rub a love potion onto Demetrius' eyes - so that Demetrius will fall in love with Helena (and there will be two couples). Puck rubs the potion on Lysander's eyes by mistake, but then realises and rubs some on Demetrius' too. So now Lysander and Demetrius both love Helena, but nobody loves Hermia. Same situation as at the start of the story, only sdrawckab.
