Simple: Grasp the stock just behind or in front of the trigger in your hand and with the other hand grab the barrel out toward the sight. With a quick yank pull down on the barrel (Like you are trying to bend it) You will feel it break free and swing down. Pull the barrel all the way down until you feel the action click twice. This cocks the mechanism. Load the barrel opening with one pellet (Nose forward). Pivot the barrel back up into position and you will feel it lock into it's original position. You are now loaded. i don't really know for sure but-i don't know if this has anything to do with your question- but her family had 12 kids unless her father was VERY rich they most likely couldn't afford it. i barrel race and pole bend and the entry fee for barrel racing is $42. so i don't think she did but Reba mcentire did!
