Cinematography is basically like photographing a movie (you are using very similar artistic aspects when photographing and filming), except you are capturing it with moving images. Lighting, color, tone, clothing, mood, focal point, focus, camera placement, depth of field, and movement are all very important elements in cinematography. Cinematography is the aesthetics of a motion picture film - it's what you see with the eye.
Some of my favorite examples of beautiful cinematography can be seen in such films as: Atonement (2007), In the Mood for Love (2000), A Woman is a Woman (1961), Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959), 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), Amelie (2001), and The Tree of Life (2011).

A film review typically begins with an engaging introduction that includes the film's title, director, and a brief overview of the plot. The body of the review examines key elements such as acting, direction, cinematography, and themes, often supported by specific examples. The review should also convey the reviewer’s personal opinion, highlighting what worked well and what didn’t. It concludes with a summary that may include a recommendation and a rating, if applicable.
This film was nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Makeup, and Best Original Soundtrack; but failed to win any of these.
A film style is a recognizable group of conventions used by filmmakers to add visual appeal, meaning, or depth to their work. It can encompass every aspect of film; dialogue, cinematography, attitude...etc
