Well, I THINK I understand what you mean. But your question wasn't exactly typed clearly. I would say that it just depends on the environment the 12 year-old lived in. If he/she was one of those kids who likes to have their parents around all of the time, then I would say about 1 hour. If the child was a child who particularly doesn't like to have their parents/guardians home, then I would say that they wouldn't be affected by staying home for any amount of time.
seeing as i am twelve myself, i would think that the answer is based on the kid's character. if he or she has been in trouble for doing bad things then i would suggest you get a babysitter but if they have never done anything bad then you should try leaving them alone for a day
well i have a brother and he stays at home for like 3 hrs then he phones me when i am at work
it depends on the attitude of that 12 year-old child..
and it depends on that child if he/she is bored..
maybe leave them any gadgets that entertain them =)

There is no law addressing this.
They can be home alone for an hour it depends if he/she is mature enough and if your neiborhood is safe
In Maryland, the minimum age of leaving a child home alone is 8 years. Depending on the maturity of the child, I'd say that a 12 year old can be left home alone for the daytime, but overnight, the child should be at least 15.
Most would say that ten is too young to stay home alone. When someone reaches the age of 12 authorities believe they could be left alone for a couple of hours during the day.

Id say 45 minutes
The platypus does not migrate or hibernate. They remain active all year long and stay close to home as long as food is available to them.
As long as the parents trust them to be alone. There is no law or regulation, it is a matter of what makes sense.
as long as the her/him is responsble enough n knows how to do the job
They can be home alone for an hour it depends if he/she is mature enough and if your neiborhood is safe
It depends on how mature the 9 year old is. I would say yes, but only for a couple hours. And make sure he/she doesn't try anything dangerous.
