Lifeboat #7 was launched at 12:40 PM and the last Survivor to board Carpathia, Second Officer Lightoller, climbed aboard at 8:10 AM the next morning.

within probably about thirty minutes
70 people could fit in one boat
The Titanic carried enough life jackets for every person to have one, even the crew and the captain, plus a few extras. But, as you know, she didn't have enough life boats for everyone.
Only one vessel, the Carpathia, went to the disaster site but was too late to save Titanic, only saving 712 of her passengers.
Lifeboat # 7, In charge of lowering was 1st Officer Murdoch. Was lowered by Quartermaster Rowe And Quartermaster Hitchens.
the capacity of the boats on Titanic was 1,178. 2,208 people were sailing her the night of the sinking. If all seats were occupied, then 1030 people would still be on Titanic (as opposed to the 1,496 that really were).

There was 16 boats on titanic! It was actually against the law to not have that many boats on board the titanic, so it was women and children who went on first! And the rest left behind......... So as you see this is the information for your question! Good luck! ~From Coolcats1234!

The Concordia, since titanic was so huge, its waves that it left behind drew other boats toward it and the Titanic and the Concordia almost crashed into one another, ther where just a few inches to spare.Scary stuff man!
well they were the log boats and the titanic but that was the most important one in the whole world and everyone was so sad to see it go
