Most ratings for Charlie Chan movies range from 2 stars to 3, depending upon, of course, just "which" movie or just whom played "Chan" --- Werner Orland or Sidney Toller. Were I you, I wouldn't depend upon the "ratings" listed in the "guides" ---- that is THEY'RE opinion, only. I've seen some Chan movies rated at 2 "stars", which, IMO, deserved better.
