^ The quote above shows racism and how roughly the Jews were treated back then. It shows that, to the Nazis, Jews were nothing more than dirty animals.

well what happened was that Bruno and his family lived in Berlin (Germany) and Bruno's dad was a nazi and the whole family moves to Poland. Bruno meets this Jew in a concerntration camp and one day Shumel (the Jewish child) couldn't find his papa so Bruno went in the camp to help him find him but instead all the Nazis blew a whistle and they had to go over to them and follow them to a building which was the gas chambers and they all died event though Bruno wasnt a Jew. ... very sad :(

After 1 year Bruno's father finally found out tht he was in the camp the day before Bruno,Gretel and his mother were moving back to Berlin, and Gretel cryed everyday about her brother Bruno bcuz even though they always fight they still loved each other <3 and Bruno and Shmuel wer best friend for life and the last thing Bruno said to Shmuel was " Your my best friend Shmuel, my best friend for life" and as he said tht they hold each other's hand in fear and thts was the end of the 2 best friends :(

it is a movie based on the Holocaust. the young boy who came from a nazi family met another boy in a concentration camp. the striped pajamas are "the jail suits" they wore. the nazi boy did not kno what was going on and did not notice the descrimination against jews. it is a need to watch movie. very good and touching, just sayin i seen it.
