6 to be precise it was very tragic, but all is done now:-)
Lifeboats of the Titanic did not ever reach to shore. The survivors were picked up from the lifeboats by other ships.
There were 712 survivors of Titanic scattered in the lifeboats.
Titanic could hold 46,000 tons of weight. Lifeboats don't way more then a few hundred pounds. If Titanic had 75 lifeboats, each one carrying 40 people, then 3000 people could have lived, titanic had a little more then 2200.Titanics lifeboats were estimated to carry as many as 70 people but the last one, lifeboats D fully had about 75 after taking off passengers from overturned lifeboat B.
All 20 lifeboats were launched, though Collapsible A and B floated off the ship (A was submerged, B was upside down) just before Titanic sank.
great

Collapsible A and B washed off the Titanic. Collapsible A was upright, but was partially submerged. Collapsible B floated upside down.
Yes because they didn't think the Titanic would ever sink and that the sufficient amount of lifeboats would make the deck too cluttered. The people of the White Star Line were more concerned about appearance than about safety
The crew was ordered to launch the lifeboats or to assist. Even Fourth-Officer Boxhall, who was calculating positions for the telegraphists, was directed to command a boat being lifted off.
great
The rule was that the 1st class passengers got the priority of getting off the ship first due to the fact that they paid £870 just to stay on the HMS Titanic.
joesph Ismay orininally had 48 lifeboats but he wanted to make the deck more convinient for the 1st class so he took 32 off and just had 16 lifeboats aboard the ship and he survived
