How old do you have to be to get a job in Ontario Canada?

some fastfood restaurants such as mc donalds, Burger King, and even Tim hortons are some places that you can apply for a job at.

you can also babysit, mow lawns, shovel snow for your community

The limit is 12 years of age to get a job.But for 12 year olds there job chose is very,very,very limited you can probly only get 3 jobs,and the jobs pay like only $5 a week.So i would wait in till i am 16,because that's when you have more job choses.

I am 14 and honestly called all over Cambridge. I am only 3 months away from being 15 but the rules by the Ministry of Labour require to be 15 years old in order to work at places that involve kitchens, knifes, etc. (Tim Hortons, Mcdonalds, Swiss Chalet) Those kind of things. I suggest putting out an ad on kijiji for dog walking, or babysitting because you will probably have to wait until you are 15. Its very upsetting I know but we just have to wait until we are 15 :(.
