∙ 6y agoMinors are not allowed to make the decision as to which parent they prefer to live with. In some cases concerning older teens a judge may choose to interview them as to how they feel about issues such as the school they are attending, friends, and so forth. Regardless of what the child or parents may want the judge will make the decision based on what is in the best interest of the child/children.
