How tall was Mengele?

Tim Baber adds, Mengele in a SS document on the Mengele Forum stated he was I think from memory some 5 foot 9 inches. That would have been at the start of his career, and based on his missing some recruitment steps, for example he may have faked an inch as he was in some measure a vain man and also obtained honours he was not strictly entitled to, missed having an SS tattoo and so on.

The body reputed to be Mengele in Brazil (a swimmming accident) was something like 5'8", and that was consistent it was said with his age. (he was also said to be stooped at this time by an eye witness). To this one should add whatever normal old age can throw at you. My father is 93 and is much shorter than his original height now, according to You Tube chiropracter 2 inches to 2 and a half inches is often encountered by 60 years, and if the spine is "poor" 3 to 5 inches is not unlikely. So height is a flexible measure in the old age of anyone.

Visual memories say he was of slight stature, some photographs are particularly revealing, and those wayward reports that say he was tall, blue eyed and blonde were clearly in error. Mengele was not Ayran looking at all. When I saw my candidate for his presence aafter his official death, I would have said he looked a bit Slavic...being thicker set and thicker faced..amplified by a shorter appearance in his older years.! Photos show he was dark haired and shorter than average compared with others (see Mengele Forum..you need to log in but it was OK for me). Some said he had "dead" eyes, but photos and performance reports suggest he could be animated. and my experience was of a chuckling almost laughing man,where considering his reputation I thought his eyes were nondescript years later, and he could chuckle distinctively, apparently, for a man who had lost much of the authority and stature lent by a uniform. ..and a man with back problems that must have occasioned pain.

Mengele had a bone disease. Actually he had two bone diseases. The bones (that were such a perfect match in 1985) in the exhumation (of the supposed alias Wolfgang Gerhard), (5'8" remember) which Mengele was supposed to have used till his "drowning accident" from 1976 and one report, 1971, showed no traces of this disease which can lose someone up to 6cm in height. That disease was osteomyelitis

and he had an attack early in his life. Reading through Posner's book on Mengele in 1972 Mengele's own hand records he suffered from spondylarthrocace a disease of the discs in the lower spine. So there is a source for further height loss. There are 23 discs in the spine and disease can reduce a spine even more than already stated. That Mengele showed no signs of either disease in a 1979 burial, exhumed in 1985, rings more alarm bells in my candidate being hitherto too short...a difference of 5 foot 8 inches or so and my guestimate 5 foot 2 inches in 2003. I suspect for forensic reasons the skeleton provided in 1979 and the 1985 exhumation fitted the other evidence because it was an intelligence operation to let Mengele work unhindered by the manhunt that even the 1985 exhumation did not supress, even with DNA crosschecking. I have written to an expert at that time to self examine how scientists could be fooled. I am hopeful for an answer.

This is important to me because in 2002 I had a suspected encounter with Mengele whilst engaged in research into the subject "Monarch Programming". and with all other alarm bells ringing looking back on that time, my man was only 5 foot 2" maybe. I did discount the possibility at the time because of the reported death in 1979 and the heght of my man was too short. Now I think differently.

For Mengele was, in 1985, declared dead back in 1979, and I had the guy in my sights or I in his, so I assume a faked death (again, there had been several reported) to protect his work on what has become Monarch Programming....for the intelligence agencies on top of Mengele to stay on top in Mind Control circles...ever widening as the NSA has funded and extended the extent, type and methods of trauma based mind control. enveloping us all.

How do I know this? I 2002 I did 5 weeks intensive research into what is now Monarch Programming: ( just to wind up the owner of an Alice in Wonderland theme park whom I knew:

That month my workplace was burgled twice, we had decorators in unannounced, and I was attacked my a very old, very short, (five foot two) very wrinkly German accented man, who was with a minder.

He was not stooped, had his own teeth (was still (?) gap-toothed), and seemed sprightly for an aged man, enjoying himself, even.

I checked in my latest googlings, the Operation Paperclip German names and descriptions; and, aside from the height problem it could have been Mengele in 2002, working to maybe clear up or assess loose ends.

All the records from before 1973 had been destroyed by Helms of the CIA to protect "whatever". So, to validate my experience of being poked in the adam's apple by the un-gloved hand of an old short German with some sort of "heroism" I claim Mengele might have been, by 93, in 2002, as short as a girlfriend who came up to 5'2" in my estimation. And his eyes were a tweed colour not dead or blue! Height is a great leveller in correctly ID'ing someone. Then I assumed it was not important and forgot most of what I had researched as unprovable. Mengele was dead, my man was not Mengele.

Big chuckle, very distinctive as he poked my throat. He went for the throat, apparently. And peeled off his glove right under my nose. All clues of a sort.

He might have been trying to invoke a suicide script had I been programmed then

and the programming worked as it should. At least now it might be less dangerous?

Mengele's height and death appear to be manufactured to suit preserving his use to an intelligence agency. I just hope he is working now for Mossad and they are running him! A sense of owning the weapons of a mans destruction. And having to.

His height is an issue for me, so this answer "questions" the historical record. Mengele was fascinated by dwarves in Auschwitz. One way he dispatched an overcrowded children's group was to have a line drawn on a "wall" and all those too short... were killed. The height was about 5'2". Some Jewish children put stones in their shoes and passed the test. I do not make these things up.

And remember height for him was an issue in his possible detection, (so surgery is even possible), he may have realised the necessity to "trade down" to evade capture. Intel works on descriptions as much as behaviour, and if you are protected you are untouchable from detectable sources. I wonder if I had put his appearing when he did in context with my research findings, and two break ins at work, I might have sat on him until the police came, but a friend said the "minder" with the video camera would have had some weapon, so I would never have come close to explaining the arrest to a policeman. I do know after his supposed death in 1985 the reward for his capture went UP to $3.5 million, so not everybody was persuaded he was no longer alive...or a threat as he arguably was to me, had I been so affected.

Just as height can be increased with insteps in shoes/boots, it can be depleted with

surgery if a life is at stake. Spies are taught to mess with their height to be harder to

follow, Mengele, protected by an intelligence machine (and the USA deferred to GB for him to work for them just after WW2, which is why he escaped capture then, ) would explain his remarkable state of preservation once you get over the likelyihood death in 1979 was faked and the tests in 1985 were a foregone conclusion. ( no trace of the disease in the bones, remember, someone forgot?). I suggest the Brits were his minders. And a blogger can bring down some heavy attention just for doing some very good research quite innocent of the past. Even have a face-off with Mengele!
