If a generator turns off or will not start up due to loss of magnetism, it is possible to use a 12 volt battery to make it work. You have to remove the exciter fields, measure the exciter field resistance, connect the F+ to the positive end of the battery, hold the F- lead near the insulated part of the lead wire and place it on the negative end of the battery for 5 to 10 seconds, then reconnect F+ and F- to the regulator.?æ

There are two common reasons for this. The first is that your generator(alternator) is not charging properly. The second is that your battery is going bad and not holding charge. If it is driving okay once it is jump started then your generator is probabably good and the battery needs to be replaced. I am betting the battery is going bad bc of a bad cell in it. Replace it and I bet it will be fine. A battery can fail with no warning whatsoever. It is more common that one might think. Hope this helps. Good luck.
no, but you do need a power source, such as a cell or a power pack if you do not want to use a battery.
Discharging it to 0V (ie. absolutely empty). And not battery, but "cell" (even a small AA or AAA battery is consider a "cell" - think Duracell).Batteries are usually made up of individual cells (like car batteries, RC batteries etc.), and even if not all of them are discharged completely, if even just one cell reverses polarity, it will do irreversible damage to the battery.
Batteries such as AA, AAA, D, and C are actually single cells. A battery is a collection of cells put together to deliver a higher voltage or current than a single cell. A PP3 9 volt battery is in fact a true battery as it is made up from 6 separate 1.5 volt cells. However the term battery is so often used to describe a single cell that it is nothing more than pedantic to correct it to "cell", a term than few people are familiar with.
No. The term SOURCE means that it is a supply of electrical energy, and a light bulb does not supply electricity, it uses it. A battery, generator, fuel cell, or solar cell would be a source.
A battery, generator, or solar cell can.
it means the light on a battery of a computer or cell phone
It could

Dead cell in the battery, or parasitic drain from a light that is on or a relay that is stuck.
no it will bloww
there are lots more amps in a car battery eg there about 1.5 in a flash light and in a car battery there about 300 A car battery is a wet cell battery and a flashlight battery is a dry cell battery.
I am going to assume you have a Goldline Aqua Rite salt generator. If you have any other model it will be a different method. There is a little black button to the left of the display screen. Press and hold that button until the light goes out. If the light comes on again within 24 hours there is a problem with the cell and it will need to be checked by your dealer. If the check cell light and the low salt light are on you need to add salt to the pool. Salt should be maintained between 2700 and 3500 ppm.
Mitochondria is important to all cells. It produces energy for the cell. It's like a battery in a flashlight. If you did not have the battery,no light.
If any light is on then overtime it will run the battery down. So will a stuck relay. In addition a dead cell in the battery will run it own overnight.
Either the cell e.g. a battery, if one is included in the circuit. Or a generator such as a dynamo
