he uses goodyear tires No, he uses LIGHTYEAR tires. It says it in all caps, as i wrote, twice on each tire.
Winter tires are for use predominately in the snow and All-season tires are exactly that meant to be used all year around. You will not get as good a traction on snow with the All-season tires as you would with the winter ones but the decision comes down to what part of the country you are in and how much snow you get.

Nothing, an automobile tire is a pneumatic tire.
In 1895, André Michelin was the first person to use pneumatic tires. those make the ride smoother.
pneumatic
A tyre being pneumatic simply means that the tyre is air-filled, as opposed to solid, or filled with something else - meaning that almost all car tyres are pneumatic tyres.
It is probable that tires were invented soon after wheels because the people who invented wheels soon found out it was a good idea to have tires on them which could be replaced when they wore out.Well before pneumatic tires were invented, tires made of wood or iron were fitted to stone, wooden or metal wheels to make them last longer. If you don't have a separate tire, the whole wheel has to be replaced when its outside edges get chipped and worn away.If this question is asking about pneumatic tires then search for questions and answers about pneumatic tires, not just "tires".
The rubber it is made if reinforced is friendly to the environment
In 1888, a Scottish doctor John Dunlop invented and used the first pneumatic rubber tire on bicycles.
On 7th December 1888, John Dunlop invented the air-filled or pneumatic tires for his son and tested it in Cherryvale sports ground, South Belfast, Northern Ireland. A pneumatic tire is made of reinforced rubber and filled with compressed air; used on motor vehicles and bicycles etc. Pneumatic tires may be prone to punctures but are lighter than solid core tires and have more shock absorbency.
They can be punctured, letting the air out on which they rely to give them their shape and cushioning.

A pneumatic tyre (or in North America tire), is a tire which is inflated by air. This is in contrast to a solid rubber tire which some wheelchairs might use.
One answer is that the tire is made from reinforced rubber, which is very friendly to the environment.
