That indicates a "pokerus". It automatically doubles any effort values your Pokemon gains. Infect as many other Pokemon as you can by putting them in your party. In about two days the virus will run it's course, leaving a little smiley face.

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to ask here, but I'll try to answer best I can. If you're asking how to view the Special attack or defense stats, they'll be in the summary page of your Pokemon. If you're asking how to tell if the moves your Pokemon knows use the special attack/attack or special defence/defence stat, if you go to your Pokemon's summary page, scroll along until you see the four moves listed. Press A to access them. To the left there will be a small icon of usually two variations: one is purple and looks a bit like a ripple in water, the other is red with what looks like a spiky yellow/orange blob. The purple ripple images show that the move uses special attack, the red-orange blob shows that it uses normal attack. I'd really like to answer better but I'm not sure how. Hope this helped at least. :)
