Bruno lives in Berlin, Germany. He then moves to a camp that he calls "Out With" (but was really called Auschwitz) in Poland. In the end, (if that's what you're saying) Bruno helps his friend Shmuel try to find his papa. The two go looking for his papa in the camp and they can't seem to find him. They look in the barracks for him, but suddenly the soldiers start yelling and rounding the prisoners up. They herd them into a room and order them to take off all of their clothes. The soldiers leave, close the door and seal it shut. Everyone is scared and they don't know what is going on. Then a soldier pours gas into the gas chamber, killing everyone inside. The parents realize he is missing, while all of this is happening and they go looking for him. But it is too late, and the family realizes that he is gone forever.

Why did Bruno cross the fence the The Boy in the Striped Pajamas?

Bruno and Shmuel go looking for Shmuel's dad. It is kinda obvious Shmuel's father is dead; but both of the boys don't know that. Shmuel and Bruno go into a hut, when German soldiers come. Unknowingly, they end up in a gas chamber.

How does the book in The Boy in the Striped Pajamas end?

There are varying opinions on this, but I believe it's at the end of chapter 19 when Bruno and Shmuel are herded into the gas chamber and the lights go out.SPOILERThe climax is when Bruno and Shmuel are led into the gas chamber.

Why didn't The film Of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas show the scene of Bruno and Shmuel?

The book doesn't go into detail either. I had a feeling the boys died but was having a hard time figuring out how. I thought it was the gas chamber but they were burned alive. Maybe it was hard for the director to portray the untimely death of the boys. He may have someone he was related to die in the Holocaust.

How would you explain father in The Boy in the Striped pajamas?

OK Father is a very strict German commander. Like when the fuher (in the book 'the fury') comes to their house in Berlin, Bruno and his sister have to behave when the fuher arrives and then go to bed straight after. Bruno is oblivious to what his father is doing in the book. He defends father when Shmuel talks about how he hates all soldiers. Bruno finds out what his father is doing in the end of the book when they all are herded into the black room. But Father loved Bruno because in the very end you learn about when Father totally changes after Bruno's death and learns what happened to Bruno when he sees Bruno's clothes sitting in that place near the fence.
