∙ 13y agoOkay so, heres a quick answer (been awhile since i read the books), in the books they do kiss, and they kiss more than once i do believe. (though some are i n dreams if memory serves). But as far as the series, they haven't yet. Now the season one finale won't be occurring for a few days. But have heard some rumors that there is a hot surprise kiss. hmmm. But as o the moment all we have is some flirting. But Elena still firmly with Stephen. But Damon has fallen for Elena, at least he has a little bit. We shall see when Katherine comes back into the mix-you know she will. Hope this helps a little, for what little info it is.
