Obviously the Lion, who is the King of the Beasts, however chicken-hearted in the film. There is a sort of weird animal monster that looks like a Giant Poodle that talks- this is one of the manifestations of the (Wizard) character and is never explained how it worked. Each character saw and heard a different manifestation- Big Head creature- the Poodle-like monster, and a living Ball of Fire. Only the Human character, Dorothy, saw the title character as a benign human being. it is odd.
