no, the oyashiro-sama does. Oyashiro-sama can be a few people at once and apparently he can control people, like he made Rena brake the windows in her school, and he made Mion and Rena kill people.
This can be blamed on the 'Hinamizawa disease' or 'Oyashiro-sama's curse' as the anime is about.
Most people would refer it to a hatchet, a machete, or a cleaver. It's none of those things. It's a bill hook, a tool used in forestry to chop thick vegetation and small branches. The spike is designed to improve effectiveness at chopping rounded objects (like a branch). Military grade bill hooks (called Bills) are more related to halberds, and they were a nasty piece of work against heavily armored infantry (i.e. plate mail).
well it depends.....the show/manga is very confusing because it is told from different point of views from rena, satako, keiichi and Mion. Not to mention that Mion's twin sister, Shion, comes into town and starts confusing the story. p.s Mion is the real shion. and shion is the real mion because one of them is eveil thanks to an oni. basically every main character dies. Keiichi is stabbed by shion mion (real shion), but servives thanks to the hospital, but then Shion comes back and kills him for good. shion (real mion) was pushed down a well by her twin. mion (real shion) fell off a building Rika stabs/thaws her throat out satako is killed by Mion (real shion) on a cross (like Jesus) reana....I forgot. so basically 6 people that i know of

Rena sees Keiichi as a best friend, and Keiichi returns those feelings. They do not have a love relationship, but they are close friends. i want them to kiss so badly though!!!!!!!! Sorry. Keiichi and Mion are shown to have a love connection, though. They flirt countlessly in the series, and Keiichi tried to confess to her in an episode on Kai.

the main characters are: Mion Sonozaki, Shion Sonozaki, Rena Ryuuguu, Satoko Houjo, Furude Rika (you could say the more important one to the story) and Keichi Maebara.
Takano Miyo, she's the mastermind of the events taking place in Hinamizawa who wants to murder Rika so she can prove her grandfather's research.if you mean the anime/manga series, it varies on each arc. sometimes it's Shion, sometimes it's Rena. anything else, i don't know.
