Answer

It's a fun movie, but no, it's not very scary.

Answer

It's more brutal than scary.

I get easily scared when it comes to Horror movies (i.e. I run out of the room when my eight year old sister puts Saw on XD) but this is kind of an "easing your way into horror" thing.

Alex Browing and his classmates are on a plane, just before takeoff, to Paris, France for their class trip. Just before the plane takes off, Alex has a premonition that the plane will explode, killing everyone onboard. He throws this gigantic fit, causing him (as well as a few other classmates and their teacher) to be escorted off the plane.

About a week later, the kids who got off the plane start dying, one by one in freak accidents (getting run over by a bus, choking in the shower, etc.) but none of them are that gorey. REMEMBER, THIS WAS 2000, SO THEY DIDN'T HAVE CUTTING-EDGE SPECIAL EFFECTS. But i'm not saying the SFX wasn't great for it's time -- the producers spent half of their budget on the effects.
