I am 13, and I play this. I am usually very trustworthy, so you can be okay with my answer. It is a first person shooter, but after playing, I have not become more violent. There is occasional blood, but it looks very unrealistic. There is a part in one level where two people look like they are "doing it", they turn around in a chair, and they are just kissing. There is also one more kissing part at the end, but it is just a passionate kiss, with no sexual behavior.

I would clearly say no. Goldeneye manages to have violence in a way were it is not supported, but accepted as something that must be done to save millions of people. Absolutely, the game has some violence and fighting in it, but the game made sure to portray this in a non-aggressive manner: no blood, no gratuitous gore, and a clear-cut good vs. bad plot in order to plant players firmly on the side of morality. I would absolutely think that this game is appropriate for a 13 year old, although I would think twice about giving it to a 12 and under child unless they have a unusual ability to handle things and are mature.
