For the most part, North India, including areas like Jammu and Kashmir, have cuisine quite similar to Pakistan with a lot of meat based dishes, while southern India is much more vegetarian based. However many foods enjoyed over the whole of India are also very common in Pakistan. Chai, Roti, dal curry, many desserts and snacks, etc.
