Noggin and The N used to be on the same channel, when Noggin was for young children and The N was for teenagers and adults, until they split from each other and became their own channels. The reason that they changed into Nick Jr. and Teen Nick was because even though they were owned by Nickelodeon, some people still thought they were separate channels, so they changed their names to Nick Jr. and Teen Nick to show them that they were really owned by and part of Nickelodeon.
